Teams holding on to 3-0 series leads happens a hell of a lot more than teams coming back from 0-3 deficits….. just sayin’.
We lost 3 games in a row last year too. We also won 3 in a row. We also came out of that series, won two more, and made it to the stanley cup finals.
Too much negativity.

Replace Holtby with Halak (text from NESN)
Three weeks ago, Braden Holtby Jaroslav Halak was a talented young goalie stuck manning the pipes for the Hershey Bears in the AHL backing up Carey Price. A few weeks and a couple of injuries bad games later, Holtby’s Halak’s young career in net is beginning to look much brighter.
Holtby Halak came through with another impressive outing Saturday Friday, knocking away 43 45 of Boston’s Washington’s 44 47 shots on the evening and helping catapult the Capitals Canadiens to a 2-1 3-2 double-overtime victory and, more importantly, tied up the series 1-1 heading back to Washington a 1-0 series lead.
